Services are designed to translate psychological and educational knowledge into practical strategies that support meaningful change.

Training & Professional Development

Customized training for schools, professional organizations, clinicians, educators, and other groups, as well as public speaking engagements on various topics is available. This includes workshops, staff development, continuing education, professional trainings, or educational seminars. Trainings can be provided in-person with travel fees covered, or through a virtual format.

Expert consultation for schools and professionals navigating complex psychological, educational, and developmental needs. Services are billed on an hourly basis determined on the initial agreement between parties. Three levels of packages are available to best address the needs as noted below.

School & Professional Consultation

Some students don't fit neatly into existing intervention models. Tree of Life Psychological Services, PLLC provides 3 options of intensive consultation packages or program partnerships to help school teams understand complex learning, behavioral, executive-functioning, and neurodevelopmental presentations and develop practical, individualized supports.

Level 1- Case Consultation Intensive

This includes 3 focused consultation meetings with school teams seeking an expert perspective on a challenging student or complex case. These include an initial needs assessment mtg, records review, intervention planning and meeting with the team, and then a support and follow-up meeting.

Level 2- Complex Case Support Package

For students whose academic, behavioral, social-emotional, or executive-functioning needs are not being adequately addressed through existing interventions. This package typically includes 6 meetings with the team or individual working with the child plus intervention support.

  • Team consultation meeting

  • Targeted observation when appropriate

  • Assessment recommendations

  • Written recommendations

  • Intervention planning

  • Team implementation meeting

  • Follow-up consultation with team

Level 3-School / Program Partnership

A short-term engagement with a campus or district that would focus on a specific topic or goal. Examples include Executive functioning support initiative, Special needs programming and design, Assessment-to-Intervention Consultation. A Partnership typically lasts for 4-6 weeks with measurable goals and outcomes tracked. Services included but not limited to:

  • Initial needs assessment

  • Consultation

  • Staff training

  • Case consultation

  • Intervention planning

  • Implementation support

  • Follow-up

Program & Practice Development

Helping organizations develop effective, evidence-informed programs and practices that better support the people they serve. This service focuses on strengthening programs, practices, and systems through psychological and educational expertise. This service is similar to the partnership consultation listed above yet differs on the time required for the specific project. Program development is billed on an hourly basis and can include but is not limited to:

  • Developing assessment/intervention programs

  • Improving service delivery

  • Developing protocols and procedures

  • Creating staff training systems

  • Trauma-informed practices

  • Program implementation and evaluation

  • Practice consultation

  • Building systems of support
